Amanda O’Rourke

LVO

Amanda is the founder and Principal of Amanda
O’Rourke Executive Search (AOES).

Prior to founding AOES in 2011, she was a General Manager
of a global executive search firm.

For more than a decade she led the Australian Honours Secretariat at Government House, Canberra, and for a period was Deputy Official Secretary to the Governor-General.

Clients value Amanda’s personal experience at the senior executive level from
her career in the Australian Public Service that also included working with
the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and The Treasury.

Amanda is a graduate of Macquarie University, Sydney.
She has a triple major in the behavioural sciences, English literature and media.
She also has post graduate qualifications in research.

In 2006 she was appointed a Lieutenant of the Royal Victorian Order (LVO)
for services to the Australian Honours system.
